Desktop Audit
Evaluation of compliance if a physical audit is not possible due to regional conflicts, natural disasters, outbreaks of disease, or other high-risk circumstances, or if it is deemed appropriate as a means to collect documentation. In such cases, the audit must be performed via an examination of documents conducted off-site.
